About the Facility
B Bar J Equestrian Training Centre is a full care "licensed" boarding facility with many amenities! B Bar J offers clean and safe 12' x 24' stalls with adequate shelter to provide plenty of shade in the summer months as well as a dry area when we have our monsoon rains.Clients at B Bar J receive a 64 cubic tack box with equipped with either one or two saddle racks, bridle racks and plenty of room for all the extras needed to care for your animals. The tack boxes are designed for clients own locks to ensure security for your equipment.
The facility also provides a four arm hot walker for clients use as any time. There are two wash racks one with railroad ties and the other is concrete, both with cross ties and over the top water hoses to prevent hoses getting caught underneath the horses. Both have adjustable spray nozzles and a motion sensor light for evening bathing and rinsing in the summer months.
B Bar J is a very secure facility with a gate in a gate entry system. The large gate is for allowing trailers, vehicles and horses’ access to the facility and the smaller gate within the large gate is for foot traffic. All clients boarding horses with B Bar J are provided a key to the "Walk Gate" while only the Staff of B Bar J have keys to the large access gates to ensure total security at the facility. There is a staff member on site 24 hours a day to monitor the facility, the horses and maintain security.
The owner of B Bar J, Gail Powers, has also worked as an Animal Health Technician with small animal veterinarians and has assisted the local Large Animal Veterinarians with numerous colic surgeries. She has a great knowledge of horses and veterinarian care and has the knowledge to stabilize an animal in the event a veterinarian is not readily available for treatment.
There is a client "Bunkhouse" with hot and cold running water, a utility sink, microwave, refrigerator and a couch for client comfort. The boardwalk around the exterior is covered with an old fashioned tin roof to give the atmosphere of the "Old West"! There are also several benches on the porch under the tin roof for client comfort.
The facility is designed to be a healthy and safe home for your horse in addition to offering many amenities for the convenience of the owners. B Bar J was carefully designed for the comfort of both horses and humans!B BAR J
